My excuse is I use to use my brothers account, and only recently got my own. Then I played clicker games because most rougelikes cost money or I saw youtubers play them already until Balatro came up and saw it was in demo and was that good of a game

I put balatro in the same genre as LBaL, Ballionaire and Roll because they are more score attack engine games. Not like Dicey Dungeons, Solitarica, Poker quest, etc

Roll dev also a cool person

the balance of the game kinda fluctuated between the versions
in the past, whale scaled quadratically by mistake which made it broken OP, which was fixed later
other versions were difficult to an extent due to it being a pretty new game
