Choosing this deck hides the ability for the user to view their deck but they starts with the statistician joker.

The Statistician: double the chances of foil, holographic, and polychrome jokes appearing in the shop.

The joker could maybe have the side effect of increasing the chances of The Wheel of Fortune odds from 1/5 to 1/4.

Just have them start with Hone. Also that’s a very random debuff, which absolutely isn’t needed since Hone isn’t that strong imo.

@fallow valley That's true. Alternatively, I was thinking the joke would give the ability to foresee the next 5 cards in the draw pile. Perhaps it wouldn't even be a joker.

Decks can have an effect without needing a Joker to do it, so the deck shouldn’t grant a specific Joker or have you start with a specific item.

The drawback is also really poorly designed because seeing the cards in your deck is just a UI benefit, not a mechanical benefit. The information isn’t hidden because the player knows what cards are in their deck at the start, and they know what cards they draw. Forcing them to keep track with pen and paper or a spreadsheet isn’t engaging gameplay, it’s just boring.
