Odd Todd is a lot better after his buff to included aces, but early even Steven really lets you coast for a few antes

Odd Todd is better in my opinion because adding chips is a lot more valuable later on

The way I feel it comes down to two things:
-> How much you value Aces over 9s (Scholar comes to mind, so does Sigil giving you two aces, and them just being worth slightly more than 9s)
-> Do you think mult or chips are easier to get

#

1 is a clear point for Todd being better. 2, I'd say also goes for Todd? Early game you have more chips than mult but the longer the game goes the more I feel it skews towards mult > chips

Even Steven is better early on but Odd Todd both gives what you want late-game, is easier to build around and has better buildarounds (Scholar compared to 8 ball)

I value Scholar absurdly high, to be honest. For a build to work it needs both a source of chips and multiplier, and Scholar gives both

Scholar is one of the best buildarounds in the game. If you were to ask me to pick between Odd Todd, Even Steven or Scholar in the first shop, I would take Scholar always

I find it very interesting how initially it was Even Steven winning with a good lead but now Odd Todd has closed the gap by a lot

Another consideration for Odd Todd - Fibonnachi (+4 mult for every Ace, 2, 3s, 5s and 8s) synergizes much better with Odd Todd than with Even Steven due to having more odd targets and giving mult since you want mixed economy of both chips and mult
