It's hard to find a good run but playing for easier hands is easier. Adapting to whatever the shops provide you is best except for black deck. Just get a good start and hopefully it'll carry forward.
I consider a good start to include a high mult joker, or one of a few jokers I like. Something like Gros Michel or popcorn, something that gets me 2-5K score so I can get through the first 3 antes and hopefully one of those shops has a better build.
If you don't find a good 2-5K score within the first ante, restart. If you don't find anything good after ante 3, restart. Rinse and repeat until you win.

there's a way to influence card identity a bit, but it's not 100%. with invis you can sell, see what you get, go to main menu and back and invis will still be there

ya. naninf only from observatory is pretty rare seed, combine with baron/mime, it isn't so bad, safer for ages. but a good see with perkeo/cryptid is prob much faster
(i.e. have perkeo, you can just force the rest)
