Yeah, skips are not really worth it except in ante 1. (And even then, only a couple of tags are good)

Especially as you are relatively new to the game

The money you get from each round, as well as visiting the shop are vastly more valuable than pretty much any skip tag asides from an ante 1 investment tag.
