In the case that it already has a seal it would return the same thing, but if it doesn't have a seal and the mod hooks Card:get_seal then it would return one of the quantum seals.

if something is implementing quantum seals, using card:get_seal() for it is bad practice because it can only ever be expected to return one seal, but quantum seals suggests that cards can have any number of seals. you'd want something more along the lines of SMODS.has_enhancement where you pass the enhancement key you're checking for
but all that said, name one mod where quantum seals are a thing. because if it's a genuine feature that people want and are implementing, it should probably be added to smods. but if it's not, then i don't know what you want from me

i used jokerforge a lot when i started out. right now, the code is going through a major rewrite so the website version isnt really getting updated, hence why a lot of the bigger bugs remain

#

for some perspective, i released hatchet v1.0 around mid-october. just a few weeks later i released v1.3 and realised that many of the jokers that used to work no longer did. entire builds would fall apart because of localisation bugs. the code generation is also quite janky and hard to read through

#

jokerforge is a good tool and you can make a perfectly good mod through it: but the code generation will be really bad and there will be bugs that are harder to diagnose

#

its better to switch to manual coding
