Hello everyone here, out of curiosity, if you gave every stake an amount to scale by (they don't need to be the same, and can be decimal amounts up to 2 digits in (ie; 1.25 would count, but 1.275 would not)), what would you do for them to keep a relatively 'vanilla' amount on blinds?

hey, i'm looking for a mod and i'm not sure if it exists. i'm looking for a mod that adds a 'wild rank' to the game, making a card function as 1 of every rank.
the closest i've found is MadCap which has an infinity rank that does exactly what i want, but the mod comes with a bunch of other stuff that i'm not interest in
there's also X-Card, but that one doesn't allow 2 cards to be the same rank, which is the opposite of what i'm looking for
i just need the infinity rank and nothing else

anyway 🤔 this is mostly fine, but my main concern is other modded content that tries to destroy cards. if they use SMODS.destroy_cards, it won't destroy the card but everything else will go through (like how madness works with eternal jokers), which is fine by me. but i think i need to hook/patch into smods to fix returning { remove = true } in a few different contexts still
(specifically talking about eternal playing cards; perishable and rental are perfectly fine)
next level is that stickers can appear on cards in the initial deck
i wonder if eternal playing cards go to the graveyard when they try to die
probably not iirc its tied to actually destroying the card

- hanged man can't be used on eternals
- immolate will just not destroy eternals, going below 5 cards if there are less than 5 non-eternal cards in hand
- trading card will give $3 without destroying the card
- sixth sense will create a spectral without destroying the card
- anything modded that uses
SMODS.destroy_cardsin its code will do everything it says except destroy the eternal cards - (todo): anything modded that returns
{remove = true}in calculate code will not destroy eternal cards
I actually love that trading card and sixth sense interaction
swashbuckler+emerald build is going crazy because of glowing deck

ok then you are unfortunately not going to be able to find something that does what you're looking for yet. the feature that allows cards to count as multiple ranks at once is actually a very large specific thing that's taking a lot of time to implement in a way that won't ruin game performance
eventually it'll (hopefully) be part of smods, and you can make your own mod with a "wild rank", but for now it's impossible
