I was thinking if a mod exists for playing an specific hand when multiple are possible, rather than the highest one
For example, if I select a two 2 of diamonds, and the rest card of diamonds, I should also be able to play a pair instead of a flush
This is for cases when you leveled up an specific hand, but the setup makes it harder to play that hand, and you're forced to play another one
Another example is if I want to play a Flush instead of Flush Five.

and then im not sure if you have to take ownership of the vanilla jokers or not but if you're only adding text to the descritpiton this should be fine

Ah, yeah, that seems like a decent approach for effects like that! I'd try to play around with concepts that also deal with risk/reward. If you just want themes, stuff like 'investment', 'casino' or even 'extreme sports' could be things to explore.

A known finite set like tarots means you can't add more without stretching the theme, and definitely pushes towards adding exactly that number. But adding gambling games as casino cards means you have some more freedom, for how many cards you wanna add. Though at a thematic cost, I think
