For example, one time I had a fucktillion Jokers whose only effect was to add 1 Joker Slot. All of them.

A "mine" token, generated when a specific joker activates.

The Joker is a reference to the kid in Lazytown that was super greedy and thought everything was his.

The Joker would forcefully take any one item in the shop for free. If it takes a pack it picks the card too.

A "mine" token makes the thing taken indestructible as long as it isn't a consumable. Because it is his.

You also can't get rid of the Joker doing this.

The absolute insanity of the Jokers might make it impossible though

There is a Joker in Qualatro that has basically every effect imaginable and activates after every hand played and blind chosen. The effect? Whatever the fuck it wants.

Add $0.39 to your money. Zero out your score. Black out the cards and UI so you can't see what you're doing. Self Destruct and continue taking up a Joker Slot. Debuff random cards, suits, and Jokers. Make it so you earn no money after a blind. Literal insanity.

And I don't believe I saw everything that one can do.

You can definitely use a seal for that functionality. Biggest difference is in how it's localized. Would mean those cards can't take another seal. Other options are using stickers, which you can have an infinite amount of on a card, or making a new object type with a calculation function.
