unlock system is already built into smods, so you can just build atop that. Biggest thing you'd have to do is make a nice UI for it, so depending on what you're imagining, that'd work. But if you wanna keep it simple, I think you can just use Malverk as a dependency and build from there

main things are what the unlock condition would be and what a custom cosmetic for a deck that doesn't conflict with deck sleeves and isn't specific to each deck would look like. maybe just special unlock conditions for base cosmetics then let any crossmod cosmetics be autounlock/set their own conditions?

hats could be cute but too visually busy with deck sleeves i feel and better suited for some other cosmetic

3 Put one or more mods into the Mac mod directory (NOT the same as the game directory). This should be /Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/Balatro/Mods where $USER is your username (if you are modding Balatro).
If you can't find this folder, try pressing Shift-Command-. (period) to show hidden files in Finder.
