alright, i've figured out the problem, and it basically has to do with the fact that Deck Creator is an old mod that hasn't been updated in a while. some of the jokers in my mod have descriptions that are contained in multiple boxes (see image), which one of the functions made by Deck Creator doesn't comprehend properly as it assumes that all jokers have only one box in their description. in light of the mod being really outdated, i expect that other issues may occur, so i don't plan to fix this, sorry!

iirc whatever mod i used before overflow would stack cards at e.g. 3 uses left with cards at 1 use left, and because it was being added to the "1 use left" stack it'd forcibly set the new cards to 1 use left too

I think thought of like this at first:
"it kinda worked like glass cards but it doesn't break due to a trigger, but more like if you click on it many times you might actually break the joker kinda like how panels are easily breakable."
But maybe there'd be a chance for the profency cards to break unless a special joker is assigned.
