I think this is the most related channel for my issue but feel free to direct me to a better place to post this:
I am currently doing my Computer Science NEA and decided to make a program that can automatically complete blinds in game, but I need information about what my "Target audience" wants, so I need some suggestions about what I need to implement based on what people want, DM me if you are happy to provide some responses. The sort of thing I want is how the UI should be laid out and how it works.
It is related to modding because I am using a mod to communicate with a program outside the game that can send commands to the game and recieve the data from the game to make decisions

it is currently set up to use the library as basically just translating play.click([0,1,2,3]) to make the game click the cards at those indexes, and you can access the information in the game with stuff like play.hand() and it returns a list of the cards in your hand

any gameplay context in which they show up. So it excludes menus, accepts everything else. Probably some other modded jokers that could break this in pretty weird ways

Haha, I think it's very much up to how you interpret things. It's gonna differ from person to person as to how you imagine the actual gameplay engine of the game to work, and how it should be reflected in the rules, and all that stuff

Realistically, you're not even really that able to care about the scoring it gives, because it's so good at thinning your deck that you'll need to have an insane card creation engine to fuel it. It's basically an insane deck fixing concept with scoring as a side benefit so your deckfixing hands won't kill you

I do like the design space of jokers that only show up under specific circumstances (in different ways from how Kino's legendaries work with the quests), or in how they make you unlock them. I think selling two jokers is an effect that is rarely interesting though, with it either being too easy, or not worth it, and that being a decently easy assessment to make

Hey! I downloaded some mods for balatro because i really enjoy the game. I downloaded 3 mods, 2 of them work perfectly. But for some reason the mod called “preorder cards” wont work. I have it enabled but it wont let me disable or enable different cards in the collections tab. Anyone know why? Ps. I dont have all cards discovered yet so it might be that.

I've gotten addicted to the multiplayer cocktail deck but I want to be able to manually select instead of it being random /silly
i suppose CardSleeves counts for this
however some mods don't have crossmod with it

problem with cocktail deck is it only works with vanilla decks

@woven crag tried to load the game with everything BUT talisman and got this crash error
thats cool man, the real problem is all the crazy jokers of cryptid of course but it great tho
because you have mods that require talisman and are trying to use talisman functions
such as cryptid
technically you could use banner to ban everything in cryptid.......
