A lot of players will play the game, lose because they can't score big enough, then go and either seek out or create a mod that gives them bigger numbers - it solves their problem so they see it as fun because they win.

There will always be a split of mods that give you big numbers for little requirement, and mods that aim to have some semblance of balance either within themselves or with other content. Jokerforge is just easily accessible so the mods that require less thought behind them will be more populous in that system
