My original idea for confections was very much that, where a popcorn would give you +mult in blind, but I moved away from them directly giving score in most cases, as it means you either have a build that already can handle the blind, or your build can't and it's not worth it to buy a one time score boost because the money can be spent on stuff to actually help your build
