ok yea it sounds like BMM is set up to download the latest commit on the main branch from that button then
which i assume is fine for most mods (i know it is for paperback), but steamodded does all its dev work on the main branch. a fix on smods side would be to start doing things in a beta branch, whereas a fix on BMM side would be to download from the latest release instead
