For Kino, there were a buuunch of jokers I made art for before I committed to any effect. I just grabbed a collection of movies that were related and made them into joker arts

Give 'm an effect eventually. I tend to design through archetype or gameplan, so there's often a thematic thread for me to pull

The hardest is when I have the art because I wanted to represent enough jokers for a certain director, and the movie doesn't have specific ties I can really use. Usually I just let those simmer until an idea strikes me
