I'd personally never buy a joker that just wins one ante and then disappears. If you're run is doing well, it won't matter and all it does is lose you money to win a blind you were going to win regardless. If you're barely managing, it's a very small stay of execution, but you'll end up having to deal with a higher ante, while you have less money, and you don't have a solution for the next blind
