Talisman needs every mod to be made to be compatible with Talisman, as it's main goal is to let scores go above naninf. The animation skip is really just an additional feature, but if you're playing with a random assortment of mods that don't require Talisman, all talisman really adds is the chance of crashing

Yeah, I think for plenty of mechanics, just trying a bit works, but for some I think the exact effect can be unclear. Spellcasting in Kino's probably my personal biggest hurdle there, where I really enjoy the mechanic, but it's incredibly unintuitive even after using it a couple of times.
