If you (casually) sold a copy of the archeologist and you have another one in your joker slot there's a chance that it can re-create the archeogist you sold before.
Basically this joker picks a random joker from an array of all the jokers you have sold or destroyed in the current run.

There's too many ways to do that for it to be worth a joker slot though. You might try a Genderfluid card that allows them to be interchangeable for constructing hands. That'd be used by Neptune fans a decent amount.
