People who play Cryptid more than me have more valid takes on it, but my general feeling is that Cryptid should also just focus its joker effects and optimal play patterns away from creating a large number of jokers, easy access to negatives, easy access to number scaling, and easy access copying cards, or joker retriggers as a whole. Not because they can't be fun, but the ease of access for them just promotes playing in ways that make you get stuck in the calc screen, or slow down your fps to a crawl
