the only reason talisman exists is because the version of lua used in balatro can't do certain comparisons (between bignums and integers) iirc, if you update the lua ver. you can play talisman and non-talisman mods w/o crashes

It's very syntax dependant, so it breaks a lot of other mods. It's just hard to account for any way a line can be written through regex. You have to test a lot and you're gonna keep finding new edge cases
