Part of the issue is that tv wouldn't work as well with the actor synergy system, due to it having way more actors per show, and also the 1 joker = 1 movie approach works, but tv has a lot more things going on, plotwise. Breaking Bad can probably support it's own whole slew of jokers, where as the movie Brokeback Mountain's fine with just 1, haha

you can effectively mod steam balatro at the moment. work is being done to enable modding for the UWP version of balatro distributed in the microsoft store, but as of now, steam is the only one. also, rule 4 prohibits discussion on modding outside of the pc platform due to platform TOS/ other things beyond our control.

it's a term that comes from card game design. I think it's a Mark Rosewater coinage.
