e.g. playing a five of a kind wouldn't scale the joker at all, and playing a flush with both a 2 and a K is much better for it than playing any straight (because even with shortcut, the farthest a straight can get would be from 2 to 10)

it's a little hard to ascertain that from the programs perspective; that's why the stack trace is there, actually. it lists where exactly the program crashed at the very top (in this case, in the vanilla misc_functions file), and then climbs out of every function call that it was currently in, listing it along the way. line (5) of the stack trace is the first function that isn't a vanilla function, but you can see it shortened the file path to make it almost completely useless

When you start the mod you're given the choice of modest mainline and madness, modest is the most tame version of it, which apparently also has lower numbers as well as balancing differences (copy paste only activating once per round etc) and you also have to unlock everything. Mainline starts with everything unlocked and I'm assuming bumped up numbers from modest, while madness all hell breaks loose
