Mod dependencies have been discussed and are somewhere on the to-do list, though the way it's currently engineered means that it's not feasible for BMM to get specific versions of mods without supporting them explicitly.
Last word from the BMM dev was talking about improving the mod submission process, which could involve a move from the balatro-mod-index repo to a proper self-hosted database without api access restrictions. That would be a big step towards making it work well, but he's been AWOL for the last 2 weeks now, so 🤷‍♂️

I think Baba is you might be fun if it's somehow using card positions. But it might be annoying to do cool ui for it. But if somehow you could make clear that the effect depends on the joker slot its in, and have that interact with the suit of the first card in hand. That way you could have a 'Hearts Is +10 Mult', and change it to 'Diamonds Is +50 Chips'. Annoying to program though
