I know card destruction is almost always good, but I fully feel this still, haha. I think it's just because the feeling of destroying cards doesn't align with the benefits of it. It's the common trap in games like Slay the Spire and Monster Train too, or LoR's Path of Champions, where players often don't realize that the strongest thing to do is make it so you have less cards
