I agree with this but primarily because the only way to play a spectrum is with a lovers, while death/strength/dna are all ways of deck manipulating to the other hands
Once you get 3 suit changers for the extra suit, you can have, ideally, 11 of each normal suit except one has 10, 9 of each extra suit, and one of the normal suits is also a wild card
3 suit changer plus the lovers is kinda a lot to get even just started with spectrums most of the time so maybe something can be done with sigil, where it triggers based on the suit of a held card
Though wild cards ofc would be able to have a lot of utility in getting started so idk

On the numbers side, the download count for both my mods is pretty much equally split between GitHub and Nexus, so on that front you're likely to basically double your playerbase
Just write clear instructions, link to dependencies in clear ways and use the "Notify users of requirements when downloading" checkbox
Can't help people who don't read, but Nexus makes it pretty easy to reach the people who at least skim-read instructions

Currently, it seems like lovers might become a true wild card, meaning suit and rank. If spectrums are added, and a hand with 4/5 wilds is played, it would be a spectrum straight, spectrum house, spectrum five, and spectrum. It would default to spectrum five assuming that's the highest base hand, but you may be wanting to play any of the other hand types
