Hmm, I think this card set thing I'm working on is turning out to be more finnicky than I thought. The functionality of using them isn't too difficult, but I'm not sure how I'd go about letting users construct them. My current method is just a lua file that you write the keys in, which works for dev purposes, but it's not every user friendly. I guess I could see if there's a way to have it make a copy of the collection UI, and allow you to turn cards on or off there 🤔

the higher stakes get very feast or famine, where you're kind of struggling to get anything going or you're blowing past the goal with multiple es, at which point finding synergies isn't as much a thing as it is just stacking powerful cards. Though I do enjoy the numbers going high every once in a while

I'm close to C++ so I do play it often enough, but that's purely because of achievements. I don't enjoy the fact that a lot of cards just don't feel useful on gold stakes. And the cryptid stakes make that an even bigger thing, for me, where I feel like I'm punished incredibly quickly for not rolling into something to help me last. Gold stake often feels like I'm fighting against the odds a bit more, that I can still make it work. But also, I do probably reset a lot of gold stake runs in ante 1, haha
