Oh, it means that a joker that scales will scale increasingly faster and faster. For example, Wee joker would gain 8 chips per scored 2 normally, and that would stay like that. With scale, however, it instead gives +8 the first time, then +16, then +32, and it'll keep going up

i am making my mod with NO intention of it being balanced but im still curious what people think of the concepts so far:

• Big edition: makes a card take up 2 slots, multiplies values by x2
• Terry edition: random x0.25 to x3 mult, decided when created
• Asbestos edition: x3 mult, decreases by x0.1 every card played until x0
• Water Damage enhancement: Gains 10 bonus chips when played, 1/10 chance to destroy card
• Biles Bargon joker: x100 mult, loses x0.5 per card played (this is powerful on purpose)
• Revive seal: On destroy, create 2 identical copies of the card
• Black hole: On scored, destroy all other played cards and gain their total chip values

Hey, I remember someone here had a "setup" for updating mods using git pull.

How does one set that up? afaik mod managers don't auto update mods iirc?

The latest BMM will detect when mods have available updates and let you install them with a click.

Otherwise if you're familiar with the terminal, you can cd to %AppData%/Balatro/Mods and run git clone https://github.com/AUTHOR/REPO.git for each of the mods you want to grab the latest HEAD of. Then doing git pull inside each mod's repo later on will pull the latest update.

IMO you probably don't want things auto-updating while Steamodded and other large dependencies like Cryptid are generally unstable. Once you have a set-up that works it's probably better to stick with it until you personally want to change something

If it is with Malverk, I have no idea how the changes are made. If it's editing the vanilla files, you may need to find a mod that changes the vanilla jokers and replace their with yours until you figure out how it works.
