In defense of Aure and team, this is more of a Cryptid coordination problem than a release problem. Ideally the release version of Cryptid should target the release version of Steamodded, and the dev versions can be left to play the catch-up game

Hmm, pros and cons on both sides. IMO slowing down the release schedule is a good thing for mod stability, and one of the major benefits of fixed releases over nightly builds.
If there are bugs in 0305c that are causing issues for mods then that's a good reason for the SMODS team to release a patch, but if the problem is that SMODS have added new features in the dev version that mods like Cryptid are already relying on, that's an issue with Cryptid putting the cart before the horse

I think you've put the entire Cryptid-0.5.5 folder inside Mods instead of extracting them all separately.

• Delete smods-1.0.0-beta-0305c
• Delete Talisman
• Open Cryptid-0.5.5 and move the 3 folders inside that (Cryptid, smods and Talisman) up a level into Mods
