hot tip. the talisman thats in the cryptid folder you downloaded is automatically configurated to work flawlessly with cryptid

Hello chat, if I installed a mod, is there a way to just keep my vanilla save file vanilla and also have a way to get back to it if I no longer want to play modded?
Anyway, you could probably backup your saves before modding, or make sure you're using another profile for modded stuff, or even have mods running on a separated Balatro EXE.
i use P3 for modded gaming and P1 for vanilla. if you get rid of the mods P1 should still be instact for achievements

I use Dimserene's full mod pack, the one with 150 mods.
One of the like 50 new decks is the antimatter deck which applies "all the upsides" of every other deck simultaneously.
Which results in things like a joker that spawns in negative copies of every other joker in the collection in batches of ten every hand, and every single card being refrigerated 50+ times.
Basically everything is happening. It's the chaos deck. Really good stress test

You may or may not get a card that retriggera everything 10 times and cards that spawn in everything.
The challenge is not beating the blind. You'll do that with a high card From round 1. It's surviving

in my challenge mod for instance, the green/purple stake modifiers say "Required score scales faster for each Ante" directly copying the green/purple stake descriptions in vanilla
i find this little touch helps the copy be more cohesive and feel more like a part of the vanilla game

there is no point in using any other loaders because none of them are as powerful as Lovely. Lovely allows you to surgically modify the original game's code

Does any mods have a way to turn already bought jokers negative? I know ectoplasm exists, but I want another way
not 100% sure if this is a mod-related issue or not, but i have noticed that sometimes if i have multiple tags saved up, like for arcana and buffoon packs for example, they will all pop at once and i might be able to resolve one of them but the rest will be broken. resuming the game from the main menu pops up the ui for choosing options from the pack, but none of the options are visible and i have to skip the pack. does anyone know if theres a fix for this?

the deluxe consumables mod adds a version of hex that destroys any held consumables to turn a joker negative, so if you dont have any consumables at the time its basically free

After you draw the textures, I'd recommend a different process depending on the object
once you have 7z installed all you have to do is right-click on smth you want to extract and 7zip should have menu options for it

if you include steamodded in such a modification and preload any lovely patches by running the game with lovely once and moving the dumps either into the save directory or the executable itself, yes. but this would have to redone every time you change your mod list
is there a mod that can compress similar jokers like you can consumables (pictured)? i've got several Exotic cards that have made quite a lot of negative bananas and i think that might be causing me a lot of lag

Removing the cosmetic mod and leaving lovely and smods has it still crashing. Removing lovely and smods has the game working normally again.
have you made sure that lovely isnt being removed by your antivirus

if it's a single #, it counts the amount of e's. say e9#10 is eeeeeeeeee9 or a bit less than 10^^11

Having an issue where Jokers with editions (holographic/foil) do no score their edition effect, but score normally. Deactivated mods and removed them, but no luck. Removing the smods folder fixes the issue. Currently on Steamodds alpha 1.0.0 and lovely .6.0

yes, your mods should be in the Mods folder, not in the lovely folder inside of it
