i clicked on "steammodded_injector.exe" and chrome keeps blocking it

@umbral pilot @exotic shadow we got the game running! Many props to you both for all of the troubleshooting assistance. A clean install from the distro's flatpak and finding the proper mod directory did the trick to get it running! Now to figure out why the mods don't load but I can do that. Anyway wanted to send my highest regards and to everyone else who helped.
Hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me with mods. I have the "mods" tab showing up in the game when I start it up. I have the unzipped extra credit mod in the mods folder in %appdata%/balatro/mods, but it is not showing up as a mod in the game. Can anyone help me with this?

It doesn't seem to be adding the jokers at all with my current version of steamodded, even though it says that I have the mod downloaded. The youtuber Balatro University has some followers who are making the mod and he's testing it. So I noticed that he had the earlier version of steamodded in the screenshot. I'm hoping that will fix the issue

I had to move all resources out of the src folder up to the ExtraCredit folder. Then on the extracredit.json file remove the following. After that the new 30 jokers pulled.

make sure the cryptid folder is named Cryptid and not Cryptid-main or Cryptid-1.5.3 or whatever, and that it's not nested
just install latest cryptid/talisman/steamodded it's not worth the hassle of working with that release build

cuz I feel like you can just pull a Loyalty Card and describe the benefit as happening every 4 or 8 hands
i specifically added so that theres a little more naunce? if you are struggling in blinds, you'll get more chances for the joker to trigger
if you are getting one hand wins every blind, it triggers less often

and counting up by 5 to reach 20?

almost no recent mods are on nexus, and most mods exclusively found on nexus are against discord rules (i.e. 🏴☠️ )

at no point did we encourage or tolerate that
previously we distributed an injector executable that you would run on your own version of the game
had to do a recompilation of sorts to get the code updated?

ah i see what's going on there, balatro controller doesn't look for clicks, it looks for mouse down on one frame and mouse up on a later frame (so mouse down and mouse up on the same frame will not register, which is probably the issue)

hey im not sure if this is the right place to ask but I’m having difficulty getting steamodded to work with balatro, ive followed the steps and put the folder in my Mods folder in the game directory, along with the lovely dll but its not doing anything, am i missing a step?
the Mods folder is supposed to go into your save directory

nope, right outside of it. I assume that's already where you put things. in that case the lovely DLL goes elsewhere
