i don't really know steamodded, never modded any game before
you'll need basic programming knowledge, and you should extract the game for the source code. you'd also want to look through the provided example mods in the steamodded folder
if you have winrar/7zip, you can extract Balatro.exe for the game's code

I guess you are using the term 'rock' rather loosely
so far we have:
Crystal Geode = +5 on stone score
Pirate Glass = gain X0.5 on glass score, reset on glass break
Gold Nugget = +1$ in gold score, give accumulated and reset on ante end
Raw Hematite = gain X0.25 on metal score, reset on metal activation
Sandstone = 1/2 for X2, 1/10 for +10$, on lucky score
Tiger Eye = +10 mult, on mult card score
Lapis Lazuli = +100 chip on bonus card score

Rename, move, or delete version.dll to just stop all mods from loading, which also re-enables the achievements.
Or use the achievement re-enabler mod if you're looking for something more permanent

I find that my game struggles with lag a lot after running it for a bit is that normal?
likely a memory leak if it happens after the game being running for a while
best bet without changing any of your mods is just to relaunch and see if that solves it in the short term
it usually does resolve it but it gets a bit annoying

some mods have issues with 0.6.0 right now
additionally you could also try removing the mods to ee which one is causing the issue
a lot of them seem old so they might just not work with steamodded 1.0

Add Jokers (balance top 10% chips + mult, transfer 5% of mult to chips, chip multiplier, set mult to 100, reduce mult by 10% and award 1$ per 10 mult)```

i like that, but i would like to have some way of making runes more useful later in runs
because +1 discard for a round doesnt really help in higher antes

that error is the one that will pop up when people have both injected steamodded 0.9.8 directly into the .exe and have steamodded 1.0.0 injected through lovely
I'm guessing the "double" inject gets confused and starts putting characters in places they're really not supposed to be

Hey, im trying to install the Pokermon mod(im new to modding Balatro entirely). I was able to get Lovely installed i believe, but running into some issues with Steammodded. I downloaded the source code and created the "Mods" folder inside my Appdata/Balatro folder. But I cant find where: "Steamodded-1.x.x" is inside the source code. Could someone help me out? 🙂

it was at first but i disabled the antivirus run for 15 mins manually
the console should still be running together with the game
that wasn't a "first-time" thing, it should keep launching and closing together with the game

Make sure you're not getting the same error when launching balatro normally
I've seen a couple of people in #1200105253559873707 with the same issue, but they didn't have any mods
Base game launches fine. Also launches fine if I remove the 'lovely' folder from Steamodded-main
If 'lovely' is located is inside Steamodded-main, I get the above error

13900K, so it does have integrated graphics.
Well 13th gen sounds more than recent enough for those opengl versions

You could try updating your graphics and cpu drivers, but I doubt that'll work tbh
Everything CPU related is updated considering all the degradation issues popping up - going to try graphics driver now.

any damage that was done will be there for the entire life of the CPU
which is why 2nd hand 13th and 14th gen chips are worth significantly less than they otherwise would be

yeah at which point you want to design a system where the player has to decide when to stop, which means you want the penalty to be rather obvious

and delete your old mod folder
