in order of the images:
"Big Earner" = All money sources multiplied X1.5
"Unstable Joker" = Has the effect of a random joker each round/had(maybe for the more crazy gameplay)
"Fridge Joker" = All decay jokers (Popcorn, Bean, Banana, ect.) don't decay and don't destroy themselves
"Gambit" = whenever an eddition card scores, re-score all previously scored cards
"Rotated Joker" = All boss blinds effects are inversed (reference to TCG games rotating cards to show sopecial effects)

These are from the "Asylium Pack" intended to be only uncummons at the weakest, and have somewhat brokenly good effects, themed aound insanity and mental problems:
in order of apearing:
"Death 13" = every not scoring card in played hand has a 1/4 chance of being destroyed, gain X0.5 for every card destroyed (in any way)
"Jevil" = all planet cards are face down, base chips are of the most upgraded hand (doesn't effect scoring or other joker effects)
"Lobotomy" = random Xmult every time (from X0.25 to X20, usualy around X3-X5 like missprint)
"Scopophobia" = gains +1 multi and +10 chips for every non-face card scored, resets when a face card scores

i mean, if i see a something that increases the luck, in a game where you sometimes want to be unlucky, it is only logical to have an invert like that
There are also at least 2 other jokers from other mods that also half probability
but duplicate jokers are no issue when using a lot of mods
if anything it makes the pool more balanced
like I've never once been bothered that ORtolab and Mika both have a "Dawn" joker that do the same thing
someone should make a thing for whatever yall are using for modding, that makes it so that if 2 jokers have same effects they count as one jocker and just have random visual from all the possibles

Not really. We have
- Lovely, which is a runtime injector not specific to Balatro that just allows patching Balatro's source files at runtime
- Steamodded, which had an independent injector at first but uses Lovely now
- Balamod, which is its own thing and may not work properly alongside steamodded, but it's not very popular
mostly people use lovely + steamodded

mods may use steamodded to load and also have lovely patches or not, or use lovely exclusively and not rely on steamodded

What's wrong with Jank Jonklers? It's been working for me
Only tapestry. It says everytime you use consumables it increments +2 mults, but the value itself never adds to the mult scoring
Like it says it has +20 mult but it just does not add to scoring, it instead plays the increment animation like it just got the value increasing (yellow font below the joker)

I've it weird that I kinda hope for there not too be any major updates to the base game? Maybe it's an old fashioned mindset that offline games should be complete upon release and not really evolve after that, or maybe it's just that I want mods that already exist to keep on working as- is and to add functionality through new mods. I'm on Linux too and not tent having that issue. Afaik linux/proton has full parity with Windows for mod compatibility

Are there instructions for repacking Balatro into a linux (pc) native executable somewhere
like it only remains on 60 or whatever a good framerate is for a few seconds then it gets to 20-30
the animation of everything gets dramatic (bouncy) due to the lag
i dont know which mod i added/updated is the culprit
