it's a pretty complicated format, which is why humply suggested debug I think
if you just want back your stake unlocks on anaglyph, you have to add a 1 in the wins list for every stake

You need to download the source code of steamodded for 1.0, since 1.0 isn't officially released yet its still in alpha

I'm not that knowledgeable, but afaik, lovely uses dll injection, which basically forces a program to run code it didn't intend to.
To me this implies that the anti-virusses can't, don't, or just aren't able to detect this dynamically, and are forced to rely on some sort of "blacklist", which can never prevent a new virus, only catch it once it's already spread. Maybe I'm missing something though.

but updates are often rolled out, to account for new malware etc.
so lovely must have just triggered one of those detection flags.

Possibly, yes. When I removed Brainstorm (Which I think has MoreSpeeds included) it goes to nil, which is what happens when you remove MoreSpeeds
nil shows up when you have more speeds installed, have your speed at a modded value, and uninstall it
try changing your game speed to a vanilla value see if anything changes
Yeah, it draws the current gamespeed over the last one. This only happens when I click the Settings button in the options menu
I'm thinking it might be DebugPlus, since it's the only mod that actually deals with stuff like printing values out
brainstorm and nopeus incompat? both add more speed values
if UI doesn't know where to go it just goes top left
DebugPlus is not going to make that sort of text box

Because currently, it leaves me with the conclusion that windows defender randomly pushed an update that allowed it to detect lovely's type of dll injection? That just seems like both an incredible coincidence and a (previously) not-so-competent detection method.
Yeah it's a custom error screen I believe. Sometimes it kinda gets in the way when the errorhandler assumes the stacktrace includes itself?

Seems like GreenSeal (aka AxUtil) requires steamodded 0.9.8.
So you might have some incompatible mods

I'd say just try removing all the mods, see if it launches, and then gradually add them back one by one, seeing which ones work and which ones crash immediately @quiet latch

0.9.8 is the latest (stable) release, but it doesn't support most new mods, and lots of mod devs have started developing on the in-progress 1.0 version instead, this is always the current state of the main branch
it does update frequently, so you could say it's more unstable

it doesn't make much sense to start with using 0.9.8 at this time, so I'd recommend 1.0.0 unless you want to play the 0.9.8 mods that aren't covered by the compatibility layer and don't have a port to the newer version yet

The local variable won't be carried over between uses of the card
You'll need to use something like self.ability.scored_count and set up the scored count in the same place you set up self.ability.mult
Although actually it looks like you're temporarially changing it to work after scoring 2 face cards, and in that case it should work.

is a rough trade, yes, it takes 2 antes and half to work but when you are far up it could really be handy (see what i did there) to reduce ante without hand penalty

double check to make sure your steamodded folder isn't nested, and check your balatro folder itself and make sure version.dll from lovely is in there

Open the steamodded folder, if there's another steamodded folder inside it then it's nested and you need to move that inside folder out and delete the extra folder, but if there's just the normal files and folders inside then its fine
