hit windows key and R to open the file finder the type %appdata%/balatro then create a folder called mods
from there install https://github.com/Steamopollys/Steamodded by extracting the zip into that folder
from there you can install whatever mods you want from Github

apparently if you have too many tabs in the settings menu it crashes

Im following the installation instructions for setting up steammodded, it says "Open the Steamodded folder and from the Source code (zip) file extract the core, debug and loader folders and the lovely.toml file into this directory"
There is a file named Lovely, it contains a bunch of other files that are .toml, but no lovely.tomly file. Which one do I put in the steammodded folder in my mods folder?

I have a bunch of mods installed now and it seems like there's just too many jokers, which makes going for the fusion jokers very unlikely
Problem is, for example I really like the decks Mika's mods add but not so much the jokers
Being able to just "toggle" a joker to not appear anymore from the collection page would be amazing. Come to think of it, would be great to be able to do it for boss blinds too.

all the steamoddeds I found
make sure the files are directly inside the steamodded folder, and not in another folder inside
first is in mods, second in steamodded third in steamodded from steamodded
looks like your files are in Mods/Steamodded-main/Steamodded-main
you need to move them out
I thought I'd put that in the install instructions specifically
so Steamodded-main has to be deleted

Would a mod that lets you toggle the possibility of jokers/boss blinds appearing at all in runs within the UI in collection even be feasibly possible in Balatro? It would make editing so much nicer if it was possible

was setting up the mods for the gf but she's saying it's too hard to get the fusion jokers going with the amount of jokers now. Asked if I could remove the "Mika's" ones but she wants to keep all the new decks the same mod brought
I had a look in the lua's and found I can set them to "false" but now she says she has no idea what half of the jokers names are lol
So she's gonna make a list and get back to me, just the whole time I was thinking it'd be so nice to do it in the UI, where you can see what each of the jokers actually does as well, not just the names
idealy you could bind it to like 4 in a debugger where it could be set to locked in the collection tab until unlocked

This is a feature in Steamodded 1.0.0. Otherwise mod developers have to add their own tools to enable/disable mods or parts of mods

This is specifically in 1.0.0, it's not in 0.9.8 . Under the Mods button on the main menu, there's a checkbox next to each mod it's loaded
