Does anyone know about a mod that adds tier 3 vouchers
trying to get into modding, does anyone know if id be able to uninstall steammodded after i install it or will i just need to uninstal the whole game to remove the mods tab after adding it?
if you use the injector (which you shouldn't), you need to verify Balatro's game files on steam to uninstall
with Lovely, you can specify a --vanilla launch arg or delete/rename version.dll
ok cool, so if i install and use lovely, is that gonna work the same way with the mods in the server? i just watched a tutorial for the injector but if you reccommend using lovely ill do that instead

I think thunk had interesting mechanics that pushed the Skip mechanic, even if I personally am not a fan of the Skip mechanic itself, so I don't like it discourages skipping
i think forcing you to use rentals seems like a not great idea

every mod with more than only a .lua file needs to be in its own folder
the fact you have an assets folder in your root mods directory means install issue and things wont work
i havent run into issues with having the assets folder there but i moved it back and like 3 mods broke so im gonna leave it there

try making a new profile in game and see if youre allowed to start a run there

it was the saved game
the reason deleting it didn't work is because when I boot up balatro it put the file back
so I had to boot up the game and then delete it

breaking it down bit by bit as a linux user
You download the zip file
you copy the version.dll into the folder
You have to go underneath the releases tab on Github
go to steam and verify integrity of game files
in the steam library tab right click balatro on the left side
and then click properties
then under the installed files tab you'll find the button
verify integrity of game files
and then wait for steam to do its thing
you're not being an ass :-)

just a simple, very very simple piece of code that calculates the score of a selected hand

It might be pretty difficult- the mod Victin mentioned basically has simulation code for every joker
it's difficult to calculate the score for a hand without accidentally changing a bunch of other stuff, like money

Aliquot is interesting, some numbers go to themselves, some form pairs, primes are important, and some numbers like 276 might go up and up forever but we cant tell because factorising big numbers is very difficult and the numbers keep on getting bigger

like we know it "almost always" goes to 1 but can't prove the always part

Is there a way to easily replace every time the word, "Tarot," shows up with another word? (I've changed the card art of the Tarot Cards to resemble vintage hockey cards and want the game to refer to them as hockey cards)

Change the localization. But I reckon Tarot is individually written in descriptions so you’ll have to find and rewrite localization entries that use Tarots, and maybe hardcoded uses if there are any
Hi, having an issue when trying to install decks. Not exactly sure of what to do to make the decks show up to select in game. If I put the .lua into the mods folder, my whole game does not start up. an actual crash log would help us not have to play 500 questions here
if the crash log doesnt show up then what i find works is to tab out into another application
it doesn't work if the game is already loading tho
you have to do it right b4 then
if it shows up but its too fast then youre gonna have to use obs and try and screenshot it from there

Steamodded comes with a logger which just saves the crash log while it’s running
So if the game crashes you can still read it

I meant that the logs are visible even when the game crashes, not that they’re stored in your computer
