you could either avoid Dagonet or directly disable him in the config for MikasMod

which iirc is just at the top of its .lua file

(.lua files are plaintext, meaning you can just straight up open them with any program that can handle a .txt file; if you dont have anything fancy for it, default notepad will do)

Recently, I had an unexplained crash here or there when using steamodded, then when I reloaded Balatro, it did not load steamodded version. I fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling, then reinjecting into steamodded injector. This fix has stopped working, and I'm now unable to successfully drag Balatro into steamodded injector. it gives an error that disappears too fast for me to read lol

Getting good interest is a little harder, and it's not always easy to get the most out of the debt wipe, it's an interesting mid ground, much better from my play test and allows for some really silly shenanigans.

I'm short you're trading off apart of the long term for a massive short term boost, helps if you're currently struggling and you're confident that you can recover.
(Also rewards a style of spending not rewarded anywhere else in the game, and I think that's intentional... Oops)
