in your case, hands are very important for scaling bus and digging for rebate value.
3 more shops seen is likely significantly worse for you than just having the extra hand would be, considering:

• you're losing 5 cards seen in your deck, so rebate gets slightly worse proportionally
• youre losing 1 mult per round* (maximal scaling, doesnt always apply as you arent always able to use every hand)
• you now have to score ~1/4 more per hand to achieve the same score because you dont have as many hands to score with

chips jokers are useful, you can see them as the % of your total chips, if i already had 500 chips, stuntmant isn't that good because it only means 50% of chips, but in early game can literally do the entire math
