that sounds confusing when you're new. Think of it this way - Mult is just the name of the Red Number on the left. Chips is the name of the Blue Number.

A card that says it gives 1.5x Mult, when it triggers, will multiply the Red Number by 1.5

your score is equal to the Blue Number times the Red Number.

(except on Plasma Deck. That gets a little more complicated)

Yes, that's correct. When you have two cards, one that gives + mult and one that gives X mult, you want the X mult to trigger later so that the + mult gets counted first and then multiplied.

so like - a Mult Card (from an Empress) and a Glass card.
