I'm trying to push to beat Blue Stake now. Is it worth going back to Red Deck and grinding it up through Green and Black just so I can have that discard back? Or should I just push for the lucky Zodiac run on Blue?

So here’s the biggest beginner tip that we can give you: Play what the game gives you. If the game gives you a joker that says don’t play face cards, then ride that for a bit. If you get a joker for playing two pairs, play two pairs. Typically with Balatro your goal is to either spam a very easy to play hand a lot OR win with one singular big hand each blind. But big hands are harder without fixing your deck first.
