playing hands for value is somewhat common in ante 8 runs (RTB, green, supernova, square, generally digging for good cards..), RTB is vaguely limiting but usually it doesn't matter much and you get better value from getting consistent scoring and being able to discard, than what you'd get out of playing face cards
you want photochad still? just use glass cards instead of photo, it's the same thing
