You dont need to score the maximum amount each hand

You can keep yorick before grimbo for 3 hands, and then yorick after for the last hand (or last 2)

Grimbo doesnt mean you cant use discards, just that you should be more judicious with them (like 10$ is definitely worth it, so rebate 2 cards)

I have had instances where I am at a crossroads regarding optimal joker selection or placement so I bring out the calculator. I try to minimize this as possible because this takes away from my enjoyment of the game. I just pick out what looks like good enough combination of jonkers, keep leveling my hands and send it. I do not think that is a bad way to play the game
