Tbh that’s something that shocks me most indie devs don’t yet understand. Modding is how you make your game last forever. If you make your game unable to be modded, it will eventually die. The more modding that can be done, the more timeless it is.

Like as much as I absolutely loathe Mojang as a company and studio, it can not be denied that Minecraft will never die. They can add whatever they want but modding will keep it alive forever.

Sorry, just saw this comment. What worked is that I noticed I would go much deeper in the runs if I found an ante 1 mail-in rebate or a delayed gratification. These two are the best money generator for this particular challenge, with delayed gratification receiving a massive buff due to the discards.

So if I found delayed gratification I would try to get some mult and chips to play hands without discarding. I would rely on that until I felt secure I could sell credit card.

With mail-in rebate it was the opposite, discard aggressively until I discard the target cards and would look to play for four-of-a-kind.

In the end, I was lucky to find a round 1 mail-in rebate and just piloted from there.
