I think what would have been a real game changer was if there was an mid-early idol. Then i could have sold off bloodstone and used the idol plus glass. However glass and bloodstone don’t really work well, especially when you have no way to generate the cards you break. Like if i had a DNA then maybe it would be worth it as on average I’de lose 2.5 but gain 3, but still.

essentially, you're either trying to ultra-inflate one side of scoring (repeated xmult stuff like idol) or trying to balance your score with both chips and mult
problem is that there's no xchips, so you're limited by chips only increasing by a flat amount vs mult
plasma deck overrides this by turning that excessive xmult into excessive mult and chips, so it just becomes a way higher score
