Funny enough. This was the very last chance at checkered deck before I gave up on it.

Absolutely insane flush build from start to end. Getting castle early then photochad soon after was a nearly golden path to victory. Suck and Busk definitely helped a lot too with all my enhanced cards. Then the observatory sealed the game as no matter what just one hand landed 1m with each held 1 planet.

They are very bad. Everytime I end up on a run doing one they always die ante 7 or 8 due to not getting what you need. It’s extremely inconsistent and you can’t spam it like you can pairs or flushes. It’s got all the downsides that straight has with even less reliability. I’ve sworn to never use them again after I got back to back games losing on the boss of ante 8 with them. They are bad and should never be used unless it’s a seeded run.

Oh yeah, 3oaks arent for spamming, 3oaks have high chips and mult gain respective to how easy they are to fix for. But they do need to be fixed for like straights, its way easier to do than straights though they scale somewhat slower. 3oaks are best when you didnt get access to planets all to often in the middle game but come across lots of econ in the midgame as you'll be able to afford tarots and packs. Think of it more like a riskier but heavier hitting option to pairs rather than an alternative
