Depends on what you're going for. If you're just going for winning the run, you really don't need much, just don't play the same hand too much and it'll be fine.
I got by with the most played hand at 8 (it was only a green stake tho), I just played different hands, the harder to get ones preferably, cuz otherwise you could easily play 8 high cards and then not find any bigger poker hands, forcing you to reset obelisk.
