red card makes every pack useful in some way---in an ideal world you will open every pack every shop, and not all of them will have hanged man, a joker you want, immolate, mercury, etc etc
in this sense red card contributes as both a scoring (helping you win) joker and as a utility (gives dud packs the ability to still contribute to scoring) joker
helping matters is its +mult per pack skipped, and comparing the overall +mult to its peers, green joker and ride the bus
the latter 2 gain +1 mult per hand; on most decks that is 12 mult per ante; in contrast, red card is +18 mult per ante should you skip all 6 packs per ante
However this +6 mult is often not seen much as a straight upside in terms of mult per ante because rarely do you ever skip every pack in a given ante; in this sense it should be thought of as a buffer to let you weigh what packs to skip and which ones to take, as overall red card has more variance in favor of it gaining mult compared to its peers due to that fact
overall red card simply covers a very solid utility niche of making every pack opened useful whether it be through offering the card you want, or by giving +mult to red card (and it cannot be overstated that a niche like this is Very Good) while also being a good scaling +mult joker in its own right

The infinity sticker is Eternal, meaning that joker can't be sold or destroyed

And the others are Rental (costs $3 at end of round if you still have it) and Perishable (is debuffed after five rounds)

the fact is that the so called "scribbled joker" happens to be one of the rare jokers. It also has a similar ability to another rare joker called the Blueprint. It is therefore unwise to unlock such a joker, as when finding jokers the "scribbled joker" may replace a Blueprint joker, resulting in you losing out on it. If you hadn't unlocked the "scribbled joker" you would have been able to acquire the far superior Blueprint joker most likely resulting in a win. If you had gotten the "scribbled joker" which is barely better than the common joker Photograph, which is widely considered to be a bad joker, you would more likely lose your run.

The way Balatro scores joker effects is typically from left to right...

In this situation,

Let's say two pairs has 6 mult, if blackboard is on the left (and its effect is active), it'll only apply x3 on on the 6 mult, but if u put it on the right, all the +mult from other jokers will be added THEN be multiplied by 3 for bigger score
