Soo I play full house a lot. I am aware it's weak for its scaling and all that buuut for me it's an ol reliable and it actually wins me quite a lot of runs!
My full house runs are born when I get some deckbuilding, but not too much (e.g. a failed 4oak attempt) and I have to struggle my way to a win somehow. It's just 3oak deckbuilding, except while I'm digging for more stuff after finding the 3oak I just randomly find a pair soo I go "Why not? Why not play the Full House?"

Though yeah it definitely needs more chips

full house falls under the category of shit 5 card hands for being low scoring planets and joker scoring reliability in average gs runs.

flushes, full houses, and 5oak all have the base difficulty of needing to draw a 5 card hand to down the poker hand. these poker hands also have a theme of requiring to find cards of the same flavor (suits, ranks).

the planets that are tied to these three poker hands are notorious for having terrible chip scaling in proportion to the initial difficulty of drawing the hand, or the resources taken to deck fix for.

in comparison with other planets and poker hands, jupiter has the same chip scaling as mercury, earth has five more chips than venus, planet x has fine now chips than mars.

to offset the mediocre planet scaling, they have to utilize a narrow pool of jokers that best perform under these poker hand requirements. flushes have aj, full house has fib (and triboulet on rarer events), 5oak has wee. granted there are more jokers but I'm only listing the most consistent jokers of their respective poker hand for the reason you would play that hand.

being reliant on jokers in a game that's polluted with them, you would think they would be good when you have a joker dedicated to its hand right? for larger hands this becomes far less consistent within the huge 145-150 joker pool you have to think about each run.

the better younger brothers of those 5 card poker hands perform better in addition to the larger pool of jokers you have to work with. pairs have all of their scaling jokers with a majority of them immune to orange stake. enables you to dig through your deck while not being at risk of dying to a whiff.

2 pairs have good utility with on-card scoring jokers while not begging for intensive deck fixing. 3oak has good chip/mult scaling with venus to trade off of being slightly more resource intensive for deck fixing and one less card for on card non x mult score.

straights/4oak have ridiculous planet scaling to offset the difficulty of drawing the hand and the specific resources needed to deck fix for. their main sources of base strength comes from a smaller pool of 9 planets instead of a specific few of 145 jokers.

as planet cards, jupiter, earth, and planet x are pretty unimpressive for the reward you get in proportion to its success of the raw base chip/mult scoring. as poker hands, they are equally as bad with the lack of plentiful jokers that would provide an alternative source for scoring.

another proposed method other than what's already known with blue stake rework, is to balance the number of jokers so that more jokers will reasonably work with those poker hands and have those three poker hands be "joker specific" poker hands instead of planet specific poker hands.

having bad planet scoring is fine. having bad planet scoring and less overall jokers for their poker hand is something that should be changed.
