and before anyone says Tarot cards, the RNG seems to be stacked against me and refuses to give me any enhancement Tarots, or at least refuses to give me them at the frequency I would need in order to keep up with the card debuffing

alternatively you can disregard that advice above as it's applicable for any deck.

consumable blocking is tech that's not generally discussed about while being far more effective down the line. since you see 50% more shop and more consumables overall, one advantage you have with excess money via hermit/temp/econ jokers, using consumable slots to block unwanted cards allows you to better hit your desired consumables per shop/booster pack.

as for consumable specific draws early game, picking up saturns or judgments early game is a nice cost effective play for early game scoring. leveled up straights can deal with the first two antes with nothing generally, while judgment spawns are a net 1 dollar refund if you sell it from being a joker miss

and ofc fool value is a higher key focus to pay attention to, if you already don't have a habit of preserving fool value
