scaling is always nice (most scaling jokers outstrip their static counterparts within a few rounds) if you can survive for the time it takes the scaling to get online
depending on your hand type of choice and planet levels you can sometimes do without a +chips joker, but always consider how much a chips joker contributes to the score (e.g. if my base chips are 100 and the cards in the hand are another 50, then a joker giving +150 chips is equal to 2x mult)
usually you wanna have just one +mult joker and dedicate the rest to xmult cause +50 x3 x3 is always gonna beat out +50 +50 x3 and so on
but sometimes you have to (early game eternals that you need for survival) and sometimes your +mult can be from holographic edition on two or more jokers with other functions
xmult is the easiest of the bunch since its strength is just the number after the x (whereas with chip and +mult jokers you do have to figure out what contributes the most to your score. i personally like to approximate everything into xscore terms when im deciding how valuable every joker is)
